Philippians 3:13
No. I haven not achieved it. But I focus on this one thing. Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I press on. I think that this is hard. I forgive but I have a hard time forgetting. And then we get around those who hurt us, and we bring up everything that hurt us. We have a record of wrongs. We keep a record of all hurts and mistreatments. And we hold on waiting for life to go wrong and then we add that to our record to show and we stay the victim. Instead of allowing God to heal, to teach, to encourage, we hold on like we are afraid to no longer be the victim. Because that is our identity. What God is trying to do is move you from Victim to Victor! The enemy wants you to keep our victim identity because if you ever grasp who you are. Who are you? The bible says “You are the head and not the tail. You will only go up and not down. You are above not beneath.” (Deut. 28:13) “You are an ambassador of Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 5:20) “You are heirs to the Kingdom.” (Romans 8:17) “You are more than a conqueror!” (Romans 8:37) Listen to this preacher, you are a victor. You do not have to be defeated. Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. What is in front of you is better than what you are walking out of. Do not let the devil take your hope. Things will get better. Your prayers are working. Don’t stay in your sin. Don’t stay in your regrets. Don’t stay in your mistakes. God as bought you. Jesus’s blood has washed you. And your sins have been forgotten. That just means that the member isn’t God. It’s the devil making you remember to keep you in the identity of being a victim instead of the Victor God has made you to be. Today. I pray a spiritual warrior rise up in you. Today the war turns toward your favor!
